Kenosha Pride celebrates its fourth year with a 3-day schedule of events.
The festival kicks off Friday, July 15 with the Mr. & Mrs. Kenosha Pride Pageant at Cooler Near the Lake (506 56th St., Kenosha.) Contestants are invited to sign up until 5 p.m. on the event date. The pageant starts at 9 p.m.
On Saturday, July 16, Kenosha Pride proudly presents the Pre-Pride Party at Club Icon (6305 120th Ave.) With performances by NaTasha Roberts, Cesar Brooklyn and both the incoming and outgoing Mr. and Mrs. Kenosha Prides, it’s going to be an epic night!
It all leads up to the Kenosha Pride March, which starts at Library Park at noon. After a welcome message, introducing sponsors and acknowledging donors, the March will step off at 12:30 p.m. The Pride Party, located at Harbor Park Parcel A, features live entertainment from 1 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
This free family event is made possible by donations from geneous local residents and businesses, including Educator’s Credit Union, The Brat Stop, Club ICON, Trolley Dogs, The LGBT Center of Southeastern Wisconsin, Lou Perrine’s Gas and Groceries and others.
