Eric Heinritz, executive director of Milwaukee Pride, Inc., will leave the organization when his assignment ends on December 31, 2016.
The executive director position was created in January to implement the 2016 Strategic Plan presented by consultants Lambert-Pearcy. The Strategic Plan, approved by the Board of Directors, was created to foster the growth of Milwaukee Pride, Inc. from a weekend festival into a year-round organization.
As all transition tasks have been completed, the position will be vacated at year end. Milwaukee Pride, Inc. will revert to the previous operating model, with the Board of Directors and production team leading the organization, in accordance with the bylaws of incorporation and with federal and state 501c3 guidelines.
“We cannot thank Eric enough for his contributions and commitment throughout 2016,” said Wes Shaver, president-elect of Milwaukee Pride, Inc. “The organization has changed significantly this year and will continue to evolve, grow and thrive in the years ahead.”
